Maurice Whelan is the founder of Unleash Potential, a dynamic Irish company passionate about supporting executives within the current challenging economic environment. Maurice focuses on the specific needs of each client, with an emphasis on unlocking their power within to help them to achieve their specific business and personal goals. Maurice provides tailored executive coaching, business consultancy, personal development and psychotherapy programmes for individuals and businesses.
Maurice has over 20 years experience working in both the public and private sector at Senior Management and Executive level. He has qualifications in Psychotherapy, Marketing, Supervisory Management, Stage Craft and Voice Production. Additionally, he is a Graduate of Insead Paris where he successfully completed the Advanced Management Programme.
Maurice’s leadership and strategy execution skills have been recognised by the many National and International Awards he has achieved, including European People Manager of the Year and European Industry Champion of the Year(ECCA). He has twice received the National Award for Contact Centre Manager of the Year, the only individual ever to receive this distinction.
He is a Fellow of the Contact Centre Management Association (CCMA) and in 2007 he was the recipient of their Lifetime Achievement Award. Maurice is an accomplished, engaging, entertaining and powerful Conference Speaker.
Jan is a Leadership Development Specialist who has been working in international companies for over ten years and training leaders of all levels, SMEs and other individuals for over six of those years.
Since 2016, he is qualified to deliver the Personal Leadership Programme and has been helping over 100 leaders in Europe and North America to level up their Leadership Skills. In addition to this programme, he holds certifications for a multitude of Leadership and Management approaches, Team Development and Communication techniques, as well as for Project Management Frameworks.
Jan is dynamic, flexible and experienced with working in multicultural environments, most notably in the entertainment and tech industry. He will use his energetic and approachable style to engage learners and make sure the learning experience is impactful, enjoyable and tailored to the specific needs of each customer.
Formerly the Group Head of HR at VHI Healthcare, Dermot Maguire has a wealth of experience in all aspects of HR. With a unique flair and passion for Performance Management, Employee Engagement Programmes, Employee Development, Succession Planning, Coaching and Mentoring, Mediation and Investigations and understanding of Employment Law procedures and Conflict Resolution.
He has a reputation for delivering exceptional creative and innovative solutions for clients and is regarded by his peers as a shining example of a HR professional at the top of his game.
Dermot is a graduate of the National College of Ireland Relations (Management and Industrial Relations). He subsequently completed post-graduate qualifications with a Master of Arts in Industrial Relations from Keele University in the U.K. and a Master of Business Studies from Dublin City University. He also holds a Diploma in Executive Coaching. He is also has received accreditations with Myers Briggs, using ESCI 360-degree tools and Psychometric Test User (A&B) from the British Psychological Society. He is a trained investigator for employment grievances and employer investigations.
Dermot has a Diploma in Company Law and Corporate Governance with the Law Society of Ireland. His professional qualifications are a Fellow of Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development. (FCIPD).
He has lectured part time in Human Resources on third level courses at a number of Dublin universities.
He is also a current Board Director of Recycle IT. (Community Enterprise Board) and Carrs Child and Family Services.

His career also includes senior management roles with Ericsson, British Telecom, ECDL Foundation.
Lorcan has spent many years advising companies in the areas of international business development, business strategy, marketing and commercialisation. He specialises in winning new business in international markets, creating new partnerships and channels to market, establishing new businesses and revenue streams.
Lorcan is also founder of the Analytics Institute – the professional body for the data analytics and data science sector. Lorcan’s key areas of expertise include business strategy, International Business Development and Commercialisation.
